This article has been imported from chorus.fm for discussion. All of the forum rules still apply. Chain Fest, featuring Jimmy Eat World, Taking Back Sunday, Cartel, Saves the Day, Anberlin, Acceptance, and more bands I like, has been pushed back to October. Tickets are now on sale. more Not all embedded content is displayed here. You can view the original to see embedded videos, tweets, etc.
Depressing seeing some of the qualifiers on this poster. "Saves The Day playing their greatest hits! Cartel playing songs from Chroma!" a.k.a "Don't worry guys, we'll ONLY play the stuff you know so you can transport back to the mid-oo's and not be burdened by any new stuff."
I move into my new condo in October that is a 12 minute bike ride from FivePoint Amphitheatre so I'm stoked for shows to startup back here!
I mean, does STD or Cartel even have "new" stuff? Cartel last released in 2013(!?!) and STD in 2019 (2013 before that).
The point still stands - both bands have quite a lot to pick from, and obviously it's a reassurance people are going to hear a standard/satysfying setlist. Isn't 2019 material "new stuff" as well though? I doubt that for the general crowd too much from STD's self-titled or 9 would be considered a part of their greatest hits.
