Because...let's be real, I wasn't letting Craig be the one to make this.
Haha, well-played @cshadows2887.
Also, there's a new bio up on Chad's website, written by yours truly.
Nicely done on the bio. I can't wait to hear more music from him in the future. He already has such a fantastic discography - I wish more people knew about his music.
Honestly I'm just disappointed there's no press quote from a certain glowing absolutepunk Release review. Haha
@Craig Manning That's awesome! Good write-up bud
Thanks! He did say something about starting to think about the next record, so hopefully we will be hearing more from him sooner rather than later.
You know I love that review, haha
I'm just disappointed I haven't heard your song with him yet!!!
Literally as soon as the album is mastered, I'll have it in your hands. Haha
I think this is the most I've liked a post on this site. @Jason Tate, can I double like something? Haha
Haha it's been mixed for a month except for one song we keep tinkering with and doing overdubs. Figure we took this long, we want to make sure we get it right.
That's cool, I totally get it. Hard to reach that point where you look at something you recorded and say "it's done." Kanye can't do it!
Don't know how I haven't posted in here yet. I think Release has finally taken it's place as my favourite album of his. It's just so good. I hope we don't have to wait too much longer for some new music from him.
He said he was starting to get things together for putting another album together when I was working with him on the bio for his site. That was February/March, so maybe he's got something in the works.
I've watched some of the new stuff he's playing live and it seems like he has a fair amount of stuff ready so it's just down to whether he's happy with it and can get some recording time I guess. I wonder whether he's going to go back to continue in the direction he went on Kaleidoscope or go back to a more natural sound.
Chad posted three unreleased demos to his bandcamp page last night: The Weight of What it Takes, Outside the Reach of these Arms, and Smile.
