Album Review: Drag It Down on You by Ceres

after 10+ listens it is starting to click. excited to see how much this grows on me

 

this albums really grown on me a lot. spinning wheel is a great great song

 

I thought you knew now, '91, your house

 

Nice to have some insight on this song and the thematic relevance of most of the record

 

I still listen to this regularly, almost multiple times a week. It's gotten me through some shit.

I love everything about this band, holy hell this is good.

 

I feel like I don't deserve new music this soon. An LP this year would be amazing. Just submitted this to the front page news. More people need to know about this band.

 

I liked the song a good amount, made me throw on Drag It Down on You, which is still ~good~ albeit it not having the same impact it did when it first came out. I think this band can do huge things if they played around and experimented more with non-traditional instrumentation and song structures. They've got the playing chops and seem to enjoy switching up the pace. If they release something soon, I hope its the best thing they've ever put out!!
