Will Yip is everywhere & I respect his work but I kinda wish he wasn’t producing every single “big” scene band these days

Fuck yes, it’s been forever since L-Shaped Man, which was dope and I’ll defend that record. Love they kept with the post-punk direction, this song sounds great.

The synth line in this is so cool, very 80’s.

I’ve been playing this song on repeat, so fucking catchy

 

as much as I like new Ceremony the new stuff doesn’t touch the early output

it has nothing to do with genre, it’s about quality

but, I still like ‘em & am excited for the new record

 

I can feel you on that, Rohnert Park is still my favorite album of theirs by a mile and it still resonates to this day. Top ten hardcore record of the decade easy.

kinda don’t get the reverence for VV though, feels sorta juvenile now

 

New song is fire. I wonder how they’ll come across live, or rather, be received live

I'm one of the few who actually prefers new Ceremony to old Ceremony, so I'm looking forward to this

 

New single is dropping tomorrow according to Andy

 

They’ve gone full on Smith’s in the new song, and I am all for it.

 

This is really shaping up to bring a great album imo
