gets better every listen, a highlight of the year for me

 

I have forgotten to listen to this until this morning. It's really great. Love While I'm Alive. I can't wait to see these songs next month.

 

i love the 30 second hardcore song they threw in the middle of their set

 

Yeah this album is awesome

 

This record sounds like a halfway point between Hostage Calm and Joyce Manor. Why is this not one of the major chorus hype records??

 

because this wasn't put out on a chorus hype label

it should be though, this record is so fucking accessible and great.

 

Weird, I didn't know people put that much stock in labels still. This feels like the kind of record that would come out of no where and become a favorite for tons of people.

 

oh definitely, people still look at labels as a way to know whether to check something out. and alex g/japanese breakfast isn't a real chorus hype tour even if it's one of the best. hoping that maybe eventually talking about it would push people to checking it out

Maybe I need to give it another listen. I listened to about half of it lastnight and wasn't seeing what others are.

 

bed and what i want are two of the best songs of the year

 

i like "bed" but "what i want" just isn't for me. oh well. i'll listen to it more though. maybe it'll click.

 

Just discovered the EP they put out last year. Thought this record was all they had.
