I really am stunned. If I wouldn't have asked for some recs today in the chat thread I may have never heard it. I've already told 3 of my friends to listen to it

 

Every folktronica type album @cwhit has recommended to me I've enjoyed. I need more.

 

hahaha. this record actually reminded me of emperor x slightly because it's another eclectic pop album, though getting its influences from very different places of course

listening now, I like the melodies on this a lot

 

I haven't listened to anything else (other than BI) since hearing this for the first time a few days ago. Absolutely in love with this album.

Also one of my friends said it sounds like a Say Anything copycat? What??!?

Yeah, haven’t heard anything close since I got this

 

Up there with Field Report and Kacey Musgraves for me. Haven't listened to this in like 2 weeks. Definitely changing that right now.

 

Listening for the first time now, but I actually hear some SA on this, but definitely wouldn't call it copycat at all. If anything it sounds more like Jimmy Eat World to me, but that could just be me thinking his voice sounds like Jim Adkins
