This thread may not get much traction, but I LOVE this album.

I suck at comparisons, but RIYL The Shins, Cursive, shades of The Police and Eagles in spots as well.

They span quite a few genres on this album though

 

Holy shit, these tracks are incredible. I'd also throw a little Petty/War on Drugs influence as well.

 

Yeah, "80 West" is SO War on Drugs-y, haha.

 

I haven't been able to quit listening to this album over the last several days. '80 West' is probably my favorite.

 

I'm positive a lot of people here would love this, they just need to visit the thread and listen to those four tracks.

 

I was just thinking the other day if Caveman were still around and today I found out they released a new album. I just started it and so far so good. On My Own is a jam

 

Yeah, I really enjoyed this when I listened the other day. Need to get back to it. Huge War on Drugs influence, but like you all said, it spans genre/sound nicely.

 

Good album, but I liked posters more, really awesome pics.

 

Really excited to check this out. I listen to the first two albums a lot. Stoked to hear what they have up their sleeve this time
