Yeah. Ex members of Ashes, Battery and Only Living Witness (I'm sure everyone here knew that)

 

For a long time this has been a band I should adore on paper, but something never quite clicks to get me truly excited about their stuff.

But the first 2 tracks from this new release are really doing it for me. If they were a little more polished production wise, I could see this being an AOTY contender for me based on what I'm hearing so far.

 

So Nate's an official member of the band now? That's sick

 

About to see em in Chicago. Not a ton of people here though, think they overshot on the venue a bit. Stephen Brodsky stood next to me during War on Women lol

 

Fuck they killed it. Played almost an hour and a half, hit on basically every part of their catalog. Really glad I was able to make it. They also had some old copies of Antenna on vinyl at the merch table which was sick

 

I'm hoping to get to the Philly show. We'll see how scheduling turns out

Antenna turns 17 today. Still remember buying it in middle school like it was just a couple years back.

 

Really need to give it more spins

 

I remember thinking this band stunk when I first heard Anchor. Boy was I wrong.

 

Almost a year later, still think Final Transmission is their best release

 

I bought Antenna at Tower Records when they let customers in at midnight. I always loved that album

 

Probably going to binge listen to their discography for my last shift tonight. I expect to ascend during Sing My Loves.

 

trepanning gets me so jacked up every time

 

Caleb on that song might be my favorite screaming performance ever

 

Trepanning is easily my favourite Cave In song. That riff and Calebs screams are a perfect combo.
