Time to blast some Zozobra.

 

I picked up Antenna at a record store when I was in eighth grade. They were my favorite band for many many years, getting my hands on any project or release I could find. This one fuckin hurts a lot

 

There was a time it felt like Cave in was in Philly every month. I am so glad I caught them as many times as I did. They were handing out CDs of new music at the time. I was talking about random stuff with Caleb. Steve yelled "That's all we got." I had no idea and asked him what was on the cd. "Hold on a sec let me get you one." I'll always remember that. I have that CD laying around but most of it is online. This band meant a lot to me.

Trepanning singlehandedly got me into Cave In. Caleb absolutely crushes on that song.

 

The list of metal vocalists that sounded more genuinely pissed off than he did is very, very short

 

One thing I love about Antenna is how high up the bass is in the mix. His lines are clear as day. His playing on that record is underrated

Also, THIS fucking song is insane from start to finish.

 

literally the reason i picked up a bass and got into heavy music when i was 14. this fucking sucks.

 

I watched this video so many times when I was younger. Fuck, such a good performance

Old Man Gloom’s NO is my favorite album to listen to in October and i fucking love Jupiter and goddamn this really sucks. Thanks for all the music, Caleb. RIP
