My wife did not enjoy this as much after about the first third but man. Idk, I love a story about a fuck up that means well. Does definitely feel like a book adaptation but not in a bad way to me

 

This was pretty great. Love how much baseball talk is in it and got chills when he turned off the wildcard game... Although it must have been a replay anyway given that it was the middle of the day

 

I thought this was okay but forgettable. Felt like a Big Lebowski rip off at times. Wild that it’s at worst his 3rd best film though.

 

Also did Elvis have a wig for half of this movie? I swear his hair was different in every scene.

 

Thrilled to learn that the cat in this movie, Tonic, also played Church in the Pet Sematary remake a few years back

 

Really liked this. i knew that sounded like laura dern's voice haha
