I think it was because it was so weird, the CGI is so uneven and lives in the uncanny valley, the movie is so horny and Taylor Swift’s accent is so ridiculous that I was entertained most of the time. I don’t think it’s as terrible as some other movies this year (not to say it’s competent). But it’s fun to watch just for the fact that it was made, like people thought this was a good idea.
They’re even sexier! Idris Elba is clothed through the first half of the movie and then, for no reason, isn’t in the second half.
