Very good as expected

 

Very good. Bowie/Talking Heads. I think “Pompeii” and “Harbour” are my two favorites outside of “Moderation”. She sounds way more like Victoria Legrand than I ever realized.

 

I dig this

 

one of the best of the year certainly but still don't have very formed thoughts on my feelings because this album may be more cryptic than her already-quite-beguiling catalog. emotionally distant as it may be, however, it remains immersive and immediate on some other musical levels and I'm absolutely loving it on those ones at the moment. "remembering me" stands out as a career highlight...
