Red Cow D-Minor Birnam Wood None of these are easy. I used to think this album was pretty top heavy, but in the last year I've fallen in love with pretty much every song. Terrific album.
Red Cow Red Cow communicates a message that really hit where I'm at and still does. I had an unexpected tears in the eyes moment listening when they played it live at a show that I was at after this album came out. It's probably my favourite track here. Magic Lantern Days is brilliant though. D-Minor Some really great lyrics here. Love the track. Love the subtle links to C-Minor. Love the references to Aaron's wedding night. Birnam Wood Seriously one of the most underrated songs on this album.
Round One Final Totals: Red Cow - 14 Magic Lantern Days - 4 D-Minor - 13 Blue Hen - 5 Lilac Queen - 12 Birnam Wood - 6 ------------------- Round Two: 1) Red Cow vs. Pale Horse 2) Dorothy vs. Mexican War Streets 3) D-Minor vs. Rainbow Signs 4) Lilac Queen vs. Watermelon Ascot
I'm about to watch Dorothy and Magic Lantern Days, my two favorite tracks on the album, both lose in their respective first rounds. :(
Red Cow Mexican War Streets D-Minor I like Rainbow Signs well enough but it's never hit me the way it seems to have many others. Watermelon Ascot
Red Cow Mexican War Streets Rainbow Signs Watermelon Ascot I’ve always thought Watermelon Ascot was vastly underrated. Aaron’s near-rapping in the verses is one of my favorite vocal deliveries on any mwY song.
Red Cow Mexican War Streets D-Minor Lilac Queen My least favourite track on this album, ha! For some reason I thought that the majority loved it though. I guess we’ll find out...
Pale Horse (originally had Red Cow but Pale Horse needs at least one vote) Mexican War Streets Rainbow Signs Watermelon Ascot
I can’t beleive how many people think D Minor is more than just a good song. Rainbow Signs is amazing
