Don’t think I’ve ever shown off the majority of my tape collection, so here’s what I got. I’m trying to pare down the ones I own also on vinyl, so I’ll be dropping off a rack and half (not pictured) at my local record store to get some store credit for vinyl I’ve been meaning to pick up.

Since you all flattered me so much, here’s the last rack in my collection for your viewing pleasure!

 

Honest question, what is the allure of cassettes? Is it nostalgia, sound, just another collectible?

 

For me, it’s the collectible aspect of it and a blast of nostalgia. I have a decent tape deck setup for playing them, and some of them sound just about as good as a CD at times. Started out as a small hobby, then grew!

 

And they generally cost less/take up less room than vinyl haha

Definitely a bit easier to snag than the vinyl haha

 

These soundtracks opened my eyes to a lot of great bands. Stoked to own this trilogy!
