Cassadee Pope’s Lip Sync Battle

Doesn't fit Bo's categories, but I'm still flummoxed that celebrity lip-syncing is a thing.

Although I suppose this Spike iteration at least makes it theatrical.

Good is debatable for all of them, but of the few I've seen these stand out:

and this is definitely the most well known one

 

So much production for so little reward. I don't get it. Cassadee seemed way more preoccupied with choreography than with lip syncing and it didn't turn out well for her. Also it must be weird for Brendon to lip sync to his 17 year old self

 

Would be better if they did Karaoke. Would be cool to hear her sing this.

Yeah if this was called Karaoke Battle, it would be a lot of fun. It would also deter a lot of people away from doing this though.

 

yes, they would ban autotune and eliminate like half of artists
