Maybe it's the lap steel or whatever it is in the back of the track that reminds me of them haha

 

Who from Caspian is in SOM? I'm guessing guitarist or drummer? Either way I'm liking this album a lot.

Interesting, the guitars give off huge Caspian vibes at points too.

 

I think Phil is the only guitarist with a side project currently (Dreamtigers).

 

Cal did some things with Derek from Defeater’s project Alcoa, but they haven’t been active in some time.

 

Kind of an odd pairing but also awesome.

 

Would love to see that in California

 

it isn’t that weird if you listen to the blood moon album

 

Caspian opened for Underoath on the Rebirth tour, too, and it was awesome.

 

I drove 12 hours round trip just so I wouldn’t miss that

 

threw on both Dust and Disquiet & On Circles today.

forgot how good the back half of D&D is.

Collapser still goes so hard, and the vinyl packaging for On Circles might be one of the best in my collection.

 

oh man I just remembered they're playing a London show around ArcTanGent in August and yeah I gotta go to that.
