Phil was live with Dark Operative last night and they said The Four Trees is getting new artwork which I think is a good move

 

Definitely going to order it once details are out.

It's one of my favorite albums in this genre out there.

Tertia I do like more than I had before but I'd rather listen to their other releases for some reason.

 

Been listening to Live at Old South Church a lot this week, honestly prefer those versions of those songs to the album versions

 

i’ll always prefer the extended version of Sycamore to the LP version.

they really captured those songs perfectly on that recording

 

I converted the youtube video of their performance of Sycamore live at the Larcom to mp3 and that's basically the only version of that song I ever listen to anymore. It's actually perfect

This was excellent. “A very special thank you to Chris Friedrich and Joe Vickers who will always be alongside us” got me feeling something. I’m so fucking grateful for this band, they’re truly special.

 

Does anyone know the lyrics to gone in bloom and bough? I am 100% metaphysically sure there is some sort of vocalization in that song but no lyric site will entertain me

 

There absolutely is vocals, but no lyrics have ever been released. One of life's greatest mysteries, truly.

I could go either way between WS and D&D for my favorite, but lately it’s been WS and that’s what got me into the band. OC is right up there with them right now, but time will tell with that one. I still love it a ton.

haha they're all great so it is hard to rank anything "last"

 

this is probably true, but I do enjoy the overall heavier nature of Dust over the slightly mellower Circles.

 

I don’t listen to remixes often but this one is quite good

 

I think I’m going to get a Caspian tattoo after all this is over

 

I lied, The Four Trees over You Are the Conductor. Moksha alone makes The Four Trees better, I’d just really been feeling Loft recently and I’ll always love Quovis/Further Up/Further In
