Anyone catching them on tour with And So I Watch You From Afar? Might catch the Toronto show, hoping they headline. Also any recommendations of where to start with ASIWYFA?
Thank you friend! I listened to Jettison this morning and was digggggging in, though I get the impression it isn't a typical album of theirs? The new singles are tight too.
It's a more cinematic side to them for sure. Also highly recommend their legendary 2009 S/T debut which has RIFFS.
Every few months another artist named Caspian releases new music on Spotify only for me to get really excited for a minute before I realize it's a different Caspian. The imposter always gets taken down after awhile, but it's still super annoying. This has been happening for a couple years now. On another note, it's now been over 5 years since a proper album from these guys. Weird to think the last time we got a new Caspian record was in a pre-covid world.
First Moving Mountains, now Caspian. This is turning into a great year for bands coming out of hiatus.
They weren’t, they toured last year. They just tend to take time between albums. Still, it’s hard to believe it’s been over 5 years since On Circles.
hell yeah, I would love some new music or a tour that comes anywhere near the South, nice to hear they are getting active again.
Great show tonight despite Johnny having some guitar issues during Gone in Bloom and Bough. They played a new song that was quite heavy but also uplifting. Incredibly grateful for this band.
I'm desperate for a new record from these guys. It will be 6 years next month since On Circles released.
