Typos on tracks 1, 6, and 11.

I love Cartel so much. They're still a top 5 band for me. Some of the ideas are cool ("Runaway" runout). I just wish this re-record registered for me at all. I just think the mixes are mostly awful. I think the new versions of Q&A are the only piece I genuinely love.

 

Holy shit, wasn't expecting the whole thing to be THAT good! Now I can't wait for the next batch of vinyl to go up. I'm honestly (yup, pun intentional) okay with this being my vinyl copy of Chroma. I can always listen to the original on CD/streaming if I need to.

 

Very bummed to be missing this tour, I have a ticket to the Richmond show tonight if anyone wants it.

 

I've got a friend with a pair of balcony seats for the Santa Ana show at Observatory. LMK and I'll put you in touch, they won BFF tickets in Vegas and are doing that instead.

 

Saw em last night in Brooklyn and they were great. Will’s voice is incredible live and the guys looked like they were having so much fun. Brought out Cassadee Pope for Q& A.

Chroma 2025 is one week and one day old today.

 

Have two tickets for tonights Boston show but don't think I'm going to make it. Any takers?

 

Listened to the 2025 release on a run yesterday - I really went in wanting to like it, and I did enjoy some parts of it, but I don't think I'll be returning to it.

I feel like this band always had so much more potential than getting "stuck" in the Chroma sound, and I'm definitely still looking forward to new music from them.

 

I don’t think Cartel have ever sounded better. Their live show this run is so great. All those programming parts I like from the re-record of Chroma really work in a live setting. Will was in top-form and Pepper really brought it. Glad I was standing on his end of the stage tonight.

 

I saw my friend is going to see them this Friday when they come to our town for the 20 year anniversary tour. They asked if I was going and I said I wasn’t and that it felt like just yesterday when I went to the 10 year anniversary tour, That one will always be best because hit the lights opened \m/

 

Chicago show was incredible. Will sounded great as did the band as a whole. What a fun show, a cathartic experience

Did they play an encore? If so, did they play anything off cycles?

Cycles songs were played, but not during my encore. I voted for one though.

 

neato! i remember on the ten year tour they played the perfect mistake in the encore, PLUS Conduit off in stereo EP, i was stoked

 

YouTube thumbnails always make me irrationally annoyed lol

 

Yeah that's a great way to get me to never watch your video

 

Fairly certain YouTube tells creators those type of thumbnails drive more viewers.

Wtf I totally missed the re-release of the whole Chroma album.

Didn't realize they were re-imagining some of these. Pretty cool changes made to Matter of Time. Q&A is a fun listen, but I don't like the mix on it as much as the original. If I Fail sounds great. Only ones I've listened to so far, had to jump to my favorites first lol.
