It sounds very, very similar just a little chunkier with the guitars and such. It is definitely more polished but I don't think it's overly polished at all. I do wish in some areas the backing vocals were stronger. They seem pushed out for some reason.

Runaway 2025 released today and is very different to the original. Lovely half-time first verse, a guitar solo and a wonderful minute long dreamy outro. Brilliant and I'd take over the original.

 

Yeah I love this version - never been a huge fan of the OG compared to the other songs

 

Oh yea, self titled turned 18 yesterday.

 

This version is sick, it sounds very similar to the live version that they released a million years ago that also had that intro and a similarly cool outro

 

Yeah this is really cool. I hope more of the songs vary from the originals like this, because the other two are too uncanny valley for me, but this feels like a change/update and new version

 

Daaang this album is gonna be awesome. The original solo in Runaway is very possibly my favorite guitar solo of all time, so needless to say the new one didn't hit the same way. But t'sall good man. Song slaps.

 

MP’s changes are similar in that I really like what they did.

 

Anything is gonna be better than the certain they currently have on Spotify

Runaway, Burn This City, Save Us, Matter of Time and Minstrel's Prayer are my standouts here, as they all have a fair amount of updates/changes and it all works great. The other tracks all sound really good as well, but a bit uncanny valley when it's trying to be a carbon copy. Overall, really solid release

 

Is this not out already on the other side of the world or am I searching for the wrong thing on YouTube..
