Warped set on Prime is a fun watch so far

 

I was expecting Will to play bass here, but he sounds fantastic. Curious to find out who is playing drums for them.

 

Will hasn’t played bass in awhile. He played guitar for all the sets on the cruise in November. Kind of odd to see him only sing here.

 

Ahh, okay. Their wiki is woefully out of date lol.

 

I guess so. Their bassist has been around since at least the Hello Gone Days tour in 2022.

 

Caught the end of Cartel’s set at Warped today and so glad I did. Do they just always sound good live…? Like, dude’s voice is PERFECT.

 

The man has a golden larynx. Caught Cartel and Early November in Chicago in 2012 and couldn’t believe how flawless both Will and Ace sounded. Pitch perfect, both of them.

Really wish they'd play Conventional Friend or 27 Steps live. Those two were snuck onto workout playlists by Apple Music and I've been obsessed ever since.

Venue upgrade in Minneapolis (was Amsterdam, now Fillmore). Might see a few more of those with the way some of those dates (NYC, Philly, Boston) sold out pretty quick.

 

Dang why does it seem like a bunch of bands posted their warped set on YouTube but not Cartel. Is there a way to rewatch it?

 

Spent some time searching and couldn’t find it anywhere, seedy or otherwise.

He was playing guitar on the cruise. Not sure about their holiday show. But I’d say it’s new.

 

Feel like it was just for WT. But it’d be fun to see him with just the mic again

 

They still got it. Never lost it.

 

They sound so good and top vocals from Will. Not many guys from the scene sounding as on form as this after 20 years +.

 

Definitely one of the best singers in this scene. Seems like a lot of singers have to really strain their voices to hit these notes in this style and end up frying their vocal cords over the years

 

Man sounds like 20 years have barely passed. Flawless. Was there more in the pipeline after the newer singles or they just put these out without pressure?
