Excited about this but it’s shit you can’t listen to any of the songs without buying the full album...

At least, on mobile anyway. It won’t let me stream any of them on bandcamp without paying.

 

Oh wow thread got bumped as I’m listening to Chairlift for the first time

 

I love this album but just never have really gotten into Chairlift

I haven't listened in full, but I've listened to a few songs from it when I thought were fine enough but didn't make me want to listen to more. Maybe I should just go full album on it?

 

Moth is so good. I like quite a few of those songs more than any on here. “Crying in Public” is definitely one of my favourite songs ever and “Moth to the Flame” might be my pick for the best pure pop song Caroline has made. “Unfinished Business” is an incredible deep cut too. And the two lead singles (Ch-Ching and Romeo) are probably my two least favourite on the record.

I think Pang is easily her best project, especially as a whole record with a full vision, but I just love Moth so much.

 

Nothing to add but I 100% agree with all of this. Last bit removed cause I think Moth > Pang but Pang is great too

 

I think Pang is a slight step up but Moth isn't far behind. Crying in Public and Show U Off are two of her best.

 

I actually found Moth more immediately accessible than Pang. Def recommend just biting the bullet and finding out.

@irthesteve I do love her solo work but I don’t really like chairlift yet Moth remains a for real top 10er for me.

Listened to Moth and enjoyed it, definitely more into Pang but Moth is certainly better than I was giving it credit for based off the few songs I heard

 

Finally got around to listening to this and I love it - Never realised she was so Imogen Heap-y
