I think Cut to the Feeling might be my fave pop song ever

 

I’m firmly convinced that if Madonna put this song out in 1985 it would have been the biggest song in the world.

 

at this point, I feel like album cant happen until next spring at the earliest, more likely next summer

but like yeah if her process is to write 200 songs in order to make an album as good as emotion i guess thats what it takes, and we'll get it when its done

This Hilary Duff song could have totally fit on a CRJ album. I just looked up the songwriters, and one of the guys wrote a bunch of songs from Kiss, so it makes total sense now.

 

That song totally feels like it coulda been a Carly song. I don't like it nearly as much as any Carly, but still cool!

 

My favorite recent Carly-ish song is definitely this one though, the chorues are SO Emotion-y

 

That whole Hilary Duff album is pretty good and miles better than her stuff before it
