Do you ever just sit and marvel at the wonder that EMOTION gave us TWENTY FIVE songs across the standard, deluxe and Side B? AND 90%+ are completle jams? It's pretty amazing that is even possible.

 

and that's only 10% of the songs she wrote for it

I know that probaly like..... 100 were probably pretty bad, but there totally still has to be more songs from those sessions that are solid

There's this guy from my hometown who I always interact with online because he's the only person around here who shares my love of Carly Rae. We've spoken IRL maybe twice (he directed a few music videos for some friends of mine) but we're constantly liking/sharing/gushing over CRJ on Facebook hahahaha

 

Finding someone who shares my love for CRJ is kind of a litmus test for me that's sadly hard to fill. Out of all the people I've gone out with/talked to about it one person has been into her and well

My girlfriend was pretty resistant at first but the other day she finally confessed that she’s been blasting emotion during her commute to and from work

 

My ex hated her and always used to rag me for listening to her. I'm not saying that's why it didn't work out, but I'm not not saying that....

 

I had an ex once who was that way toward me listening to Hilary Duff. One time she even THREW my HD CD across my room. It is totally why it didn’t work out between us. If you don’t get HD, you don’t get me. :)

damn, all 3 of those are fucking cool. The When I Needed You demo is from Song Exploder podcast, which is a really great episode

 

so she wrote 120 songs for this album but she's cutting it down to 15 and isn't sure exactly when it will be ready
