    Her label probably locked into that date before anyone knew about midnights and it’s probably a logistic nightmare with promo etc to do anything about it

    I will listen to both albums but my show is like two days after her album comes out so I have to cram before the show. So much pressure to dance and sing along effectively smh!!

    Which line of thinking is more accurate? That releasing your album the same day as another big album gets more listens because people are already seeking out something new on streaming services so they'll check yours out too, or that you'll get completely overshadowed because the average listener isn't listening to two full albums in one day?
