i want a deluxe reissue of E•MO•TION on vinyl. package all deluxe/B-side tracks (including Cut to the Feeling) on a 3xLP and call it E•MO•T10N or something.

i'm also low-key hoping that if a rerelease is coming that there's a vinyl version. not only does the standard pressing not have all of the songs (Side B aside), but no matter how much i clean it, it's incredibly noisy.

 

yeah not having Didn’t Just Come Here To Dance on the vinyl bums me out

 

I thought that was a deluxe edition track? My vinyl has all 12 of the standard album tracks. It’s definitely not the best sounding record I own though, for sure agree. I would consider swapping mine for a new one if she did a new pressing

This is cool but should have also done a version combining Emotion with Emotion: Side B for completion. That would be an ideal 2CD.

 

lol, i'm just now realizing on Apple Music that this is misspelled as 10th Anniversay Edition

 

Great set but it does break my heart a bit that even with the whole Emot10n thing, Roses still didn't get played

 

also looks like two of the other new tracks leaked at various points in time - with Back of My Heart surfacing earlier in the year, and Lost in Devotion apparently being an outtake from The Loneliest/Loveliest Time. not sure if that means she tried reworking it from the original E•MO•TION sessions or if she decided it sonically fit better with these tracks than her last two albums, but it's cool it's seeing the light of day regardless.
