Yeah, i love the moodier tracks on Loneliest Time. Bad Thing Twice, Keep Away, Bends, Anxious. Most fully well-balanced album of hers imo.

 

Loneliest and Loveliest could go back and forth as my favorite depending on if I want a more cohesive project or just a collection of absolute bangers. Really a perfect 1-2 punch

 

The one with Beach House wins, y’all

 

There's only a couple songs on Lovely that I think stand up next to Lonely at all. While she might be her most experimental or creative, the songs don't quite get there as much. Both good albums though, but I can tell Lovely is a fair amount of b sides

 

is it bad that i've never actually sat down and spun Kiss? i prefer hearing Carly at the top of the game, and i guess the general consensus re: Kiss is that there are some good songs there, but that it was a rushed project to satiate the need to deliver some hits after Call Me Maybe.

 

No, Kiss is great! Tug of War is the mid debut album

 

Yeah Kiss is great. Definitely worth a listen.

I’m with you on this. There’s a couple good songs, but pretty much everything else feels like an okay experiment or an interesting sketch that doesn’t quite come together.

 

Absolutely listen to Kiss. She went to another level with Emotion and beyond, but that didn't stop Kiss from being my favorite mainstream pop record of 2012. The first half is particularly stacked.

 

Didn’t like Kiss at all the few times I’ve checked it out, but everything since is incredible

 

“Tonight I’m Getting Over You” is a CRJ classic

 

Still one of my favourites by her.

 

The EP version of Curiosity is so good and it's such a shame that version didn't make it onto Kiss

 

I've never listened to the EP, is it worth it aside from this song which I'll now have to check out?

 

If you like Kiss, there's probably a song or two you'll like. I pretty much only listen to Curiosity and sometimes Just A Step Away

 

Idk what anybody else thinks about it, but Tiny Little Bows has always been one of my favorites from Kiss
