I wasn’t too big on Dedicated when it first came out, but her Tiny Desk for that album cycle really made me turn a new leaf for it and I’ve adored it ever since

 

Automatically in love!!!

Talking To Yourself has gotta be one of her best songs

 

All things considered a guys mom making the picnic food could be worse. Maybe eventually the mom can teach him how to cook and you know the food would be bomb when u visit for the holidays

 

and maybe the other guy is in an open relationship

 

I don’t know if Talking to Myself is my favorite on this album, but it’s either that or the title track.

Okay that was legit one of the funnest concerts I've ever been to. I may go see her again tomorrow. Was pleasantly surprised how many songs off Emotion and Dedicated she sang. And omg she teared up during Go Find Yourself or Whatever and it was so emotional

 

how is No Thinking Over The Weekend a bonus when it's the best song I've ever heard

Being left off an album isn’t necessarily indicative of perceived quality. Sometimes songs just don’t fit into the flow of an album that the artist is looking for

 

I mean she put Cut To The Feeling in the Disney vault until she made a ballerina movie lol

 

yeah most of my favourite Carly songs aren't regular album songs at this rate lol it is what it is

 

I am so tired from going to the show last night and then having to work this morning but part of me does want to go again tonight. Realistically i wont but i keep saying i might lol. That was def the best crowd I've had with crj. It's honestly wild to see her in venues so small just because her songs feel so big and her energy and performing is always so great it feels like we're on a hidden cheat mode because she should be playing arenas. Like I know this is also me just fangirling but it's wild we're even able and allowed to get that close to her! People started lining up earlier than I expected so I got in like 4th row. I've seen her a few times and this is probably the most energetic I've seen the crowd for her. And she seems sincerely taken aback and gracious by the crowd energy. She def made it feel very positive and fostered the good vibes

 

Also can’t think of too many pop stars at her level who give as much respect to their band on stage as she does. It’s really clear she values everyone on stage with her and that they’re part of what she’s doing

 

Demi was really appreciative of their band last week but yeah that's always cool

 

I think this is her best record, lyrically.

 

Shooting Star on repeat. Love that outro.

I really, really hope that’s intentional. If so, the bonus tracks to me feel like a tiny little hidden encore, with Keep Away being the secret closer that nods at the opener

 

Yeah! Something about ‘Keep Away’ really clicks with me.
