the bonus tracks rule, but the condensed 12-track version is pretty perfect on its own. "black heart" and "love again" tho
Oh I didn't know Black Heart was a bonus track. It's prob my least fave but I don't outright dislike it either. It's criminal that I Didn't Just Come Here to Dance is a bonus track
The bonus tracks are definitely worth it. I love I Didn't Just Come Here To Dance, Favourite Colour, and Never Get To Hold You.
Love Again is one of the best tracks on the album honestly, AS GOOD of a closer as When I Needed You,
Finally listened again last night and sadly I'm still not crazy about it. I really like Run Away with Me, Emotion, All That and I Didn't Just Come Here to Dance. I Really Like You and Warm Blood are quite good as well. Otherwise, I don't dislike anything, but I'm just not that interested in anything else either.
I want to see her at Pitchfork in Chicago on Friday, but I don't really want to spend $75 to get a ticket.
Pretty sure. People get mad that he makes the shortlist every year. There are so many albums on there I would be happy to see win but I hope it's Grimes year. White Lung would be next best.
Anyone else see her at Pitchfork? I loved her set, I'm not sure if it was the best show I saw (Sufjan probably has that title) but her's is the one I can't stop thinking about.
I was worried when I saw her live cause people said she isn't charismatic and charisma is one of my biggest things with live acts but she was great and charismatic and vocally she was awesome. The friend I dragged with me was impressed with her as well and she only knows Call Me Maybe lol
She was incredible when I saw her back in March. I feel like she probably just got more comfortable playing for a different type of crowd as she's gone along promoting Emotion.
dunno if the danny l harle collab ever came up as studio version but here it is she performed it last night with him, looks like they were filming a video for it
