Ticketmaster/Livenation have been doing that for a while. It's annoying.
I got Kelly Clarkson tickets in a presale, and by the time general onsale was live they had increased by $30 in the section I was in.
Same with Kacey Musgraves.

 

I tried to buy Boston tix like a half hour after the pre-sale went live and it keeps saying there are none available so I was thinking that same thing. Definitely going to end up buying one off stubhub if I can't score one tomorrow I refuse to miss Carly Rae lol.

 

I'm in the same boat! After fees the cheapest GA on Stubhub is around $80...sigh. But I don't want to miss!
I'll just be back from PTown for this. Going to be a WILD few days, lol

This is dynamic pricing bullshit, essentially allowing Ticketmaster to raise prices based on demand. That's such a shame.

 

Ugh floor tickets are so pricy for this and idk I'm always worried about balcony at these shows cus I'm trying to like be dancing and having a good time

 

They do this in the opposite direction with low demand as well. A show I purchased tickets for became cheaper only one day later. I reached out asking for the lower price, and they wouldn't change it. Also annoying.

 

Urghh there's still lower balcony seats available for day 1. Do I just buy one or hold out hope for floor in the general onsale tomorrow?

 

Yep I've had this work in and against my favor several times. That Taste of Chaos tour back in 2016 I bought tickets for $80 each, and just a week later they dropped to $50.
But then last year I waited until the week of to buy Kendrick/SZA tickets and they dropped to like $30 each. So I guess it evens out!

 

I'm seeing floor tickets on stubhub cheaper than Ticketmaster has them right now. There's no telling what's gonna happen but at the very least if you buy them today don't do it through them.

Wow you're right they're only $72 on stubhub after fees....pretty sure that's only 10 bucks more than ticketmaster had them after fees yesterday. Gonna try my luck tomorrow morning and if the general onsale doesn't work I'm snagging one of these!

Sorry to keep ranting, but look at this bullshit. I tried a second presale code for the hell of it......if you do the Livenation presale instead of the Spotify presale, the ticket is $20 more. Livenation/Ticketmaster are crooks!
