I like California (the state and the song) a lot. It kind of feels like it serves the same kind of purpose as what "it's Nice To Have A Friend" serves on Lover.

 

I wasn’t looking at the tracklist as I went through my first listen and within 3 seconds I knew which one was the bleachers song haha

 

Wish I could've gotten the signed vinyl but nabbed the blue one, our Queen always delivers bops

This is What They Say is the first track I had to spin again. A HIT.

 

Just remembered when I saw her in February and these two teenage girls started commenting on how surprised they were at how much of the audience were men lmao

 

I think my favorites on first listen were Let's Sort The Whole Thing Out, Stay Away, and Solo

This is a real fun collection of tracks, most of them do feel like b-sides but that's not a bad thing in Carly's world. Comeback is my initial favorite, but I am certain the rest will grow on me

 

I like Comeback but I don't really like Jack's vocals on it.

I am pretty sure I did.

 

I definitely prefer Dedicated overall (it’s my favorite release of hers) but this is still great. Favorites on first listen were Comeback, Heartbeat and Summer Love.

 

If you told me Window was written during Tug of War then remixed to fit the Dedicated aesthetic, I'd believe you

 

so weird to me that emotion might be my 3rd fave album of hers

 

yeah that is weird to me too

 

I'm torn between Dedicated and Emotion being #1 for me. Dedicated is a lot more consistent IMO, but the highs on Emotion are much higher than the highs on Dedicated (apart from Real Love)

 

Nothing beats Emotion

 

I still haven’t heard any of her pre-Emotion stuff other than Call Me Maybe and the bad Owl City song
