I totally slept on this album this year. Love a lot of these tracks. I don't keep up with pop much, only other one I really listened to this year was Lover. Anything else I should check out from this year?

 

Carly, Taylor, Charli XCX, Sigrid and Ariana are good starting points.

There's also good release from Camila Cabello, Kim Petras, Lizzo, Betty Who, Miley, and some others. Enjoy~!

Kim Petras - Clarity is my fave that isn't this album

Clarity is so fun, the stuff I listed off is somewhere-ish in order my my favorites, lots of good pop this year

 

Slayyyter released a really good album, she kinda reminds me of Carly but if she were way hornier and would also stab you with a knife

 

YES this too. She is more indie & pop, but genres are dumb anyway, go Caroline go!@

 

I'd also recommend the Georgia Maq album

 

I back Sigrid 100% my favorite pop album released this year and if I were to rank maybe my second favorite album of the year

 

what beats it for you?

 

The album is a little hit or miss for me but Shura also released possibly my fav pop song of the year. Chorus on this one is super Carly-ish

 

The new Tove Lo album is really good too though it wasn’t as immediate for me as her others

I think the Shura album is phenomenal, much more low key pop if you wanna call it that.

This jam is defintely my fav on it

 

I'd just add LIZ and Hannah Diamond. We've been truly fed this year

 

Would like to get into Kim Petras but the Dr Luke thing really bugs me
