One of the best songs of the year, easy.

 

This song is so so good. Easily my favorite first single off an album from her.

 

Stoked for the album but the song didn't do a lot for me on first listen, will have to revisit another time and see if I'm just listening while not in the right mood/mindset

 

I’ve listened to it i think 3 times and i appreciate it more each time. There’s a bad song by a band like imagine dragons that it kind of threatens to sound like for the first 30 seconds or so, but then it’s got a lot of really cool parts in it.

 

I really do enjoy it, but it doesn’t compare to a lot of her work on Emotion and Dedicated, which are my two favourite bodies of work by her. I feel like when a chorus is just a line repeated numerous times, it’s rarely going to elevate into something I’m infatuated with.
