Definitely best album art since Emotion, if not flat-out the best.

 

I think The Loneliest Time has her best album art. This one is whatever to me (honestly, maybe my least favorite?), though I do think the alternative cover on Rough Trade that seems to have a "RAVIOLI" neon sign at the top is kind of fun haha.

 

Double album lets gooooooo

 

not many double albums that really work for me, but hoping this is a home run

 

if it's a 2xLP/single CD, i'm assuming it's a pretty reasonable length. 24 shorter songs that probably clock in around or under 80 minutes.

 

She's essentially already done 3 double albums as both Emotion and Dedicated had a separate B-side release and the Loveliest/Loneliest time were (I think?) from the same era so I'm sure the quality will be consistent.

 

knowing Carly, I wouldn’t be shocked if she had an entire double album of b-sides ready to release next year lol, but I am certainly not expecting a b sides release this time either.

 

Yeah this feels to me like she decided to drop it all in one go

 

Yeah, confident knowing that she’s essentially doubled up on records over multiple cycles now, just dropping it all at once this time

 

I’d honestly prefer to the gap between but still stoked

 

I imagine that since this one is more purposeful in one side being the Day side and one being the Night side, it makes more sense as a double album rather than a B Side released later

 

stoked for this! gonna hold off pre-ordering though til i hear the single (but i know it will rule)
