this song is wild
riyl: weird sprawling r&b pop?
@brandon_260 i want to hear what you think about this
It's pretty crazy. I'm not entirely sold on his voice, but the music is great and works well with the lyrics. I'm really intrigued to see the full narrative of the album though, because the lyrics paint a really vivid story here.
Stream CARE LUV IN THE RUINS: Part 1
im loving this. Excited to hear both parts together
pretty much have listened to pt 1 of this like 10 times in past 24 hours lol.
this comes out tomorrow, and I can't wait to hear the whole thing. Pretty much head over heels in love with PT 1.
haven't listened yet holding out for tomorrow! first release of 2017 i'm excited for whoop whoop
EDIT: offer over. ignore.
I would love it, if you don't mind.
Part way through this and it's pretty cool so far.
i actually just started this, good bump timing, haha
Sometimes I wish this was a bit shorter, but it's pretty great. First half is flawless.
Is anyone fucking with this?
Switzerland-Moonlight-You Hallucinate is such a brilliant stretch of tracks. I would even throw Solitude in there. I always find myself losing interest a bit after that, but I can place if it's the album's exhaustive length or if the quality just dips a bit there. It's still a cool album all around, but I'm only listening to it in full like once a week. I kinda wish I had checked it when he released the first half as part one and then listened to the rest when he dropped the second half.
yeah this is really cool still, working on booking him for a show down here
Actually, I really like Amethyst too.
Does he play with a band or just solo?
I'd like to see these songs live, could create a great atmosphere.
from what he told me (was trying to get a sense of his performance so i could figure out a venue) he performs solo, triggering different tracks, and focusing on audience engagement
Keep forgetting to listen to this but think I am gonna love it
lol I almost tagged you in here like 5 minutes ago to see if you had checked it.
I'm really into this. Length makes it daunting to come back to often, but I keep finding new things to love every time I spin it. Definitely a sprawling record, for better or for worse.
