Kind of surprised this has zero activity. This album is really great! Definitely agree with the Foxing/ManOrch comp.

There’s a ton of influence on this, don’t want to zero it down to just 2-3 bands but was trying to get people interested and that comparison certainly worked for me. I’d say that this is just great music and a lot of people here will enjoy this once they give it a chance and look past the production.

 

checked this out for the first time yesterday. REALLY dug it. gonna try and give it some more attention soon

This bothered me on my first listen because some songs have this weird, somewhat lo-fi sound, but others don't. The inconsistency bothered me at first, but now I hardly notice it.

 

Yeah wow I like this a lot. Nice little fall record.

 

Same! The back half sounds way better than the front haha. But now I just love the songs and don’t think about it much

 

'Oh Brother' is probably my favorite track.

 

This keeps getting better and better for me.

 

Apotheosis is the best song of the year.

 

Might be, there’s a quality to that song idk.. reminds me of like 90s emo for some reason

This is probably my favorite album of the year. This is hitting me insanely hard and I’m not sure why. Apotheosis is indeed the best song of the year

 

this may be slipping into my top 10 and definitely my pleasant surprise of the year.

I don’t want to commit this to my top ten, but it’s definitely been replayed a shit ton since it was released and is a real gem. There’s been so much that I love this year, and what was once a top 10 album is getting moved back.
