So crazy. I wonder how many of the same shows we went to between 2012-2020. I think we already determined that we went to the first boygenius tour when Marshall and Phoebe could not stop laughing lol

 

Yeah we did lol. I frequented Neumos for a bit so if you went to many shows there, I probably was too

 

Caracara season

Awesome. And it’s 1/6? Honestly make them all Lazerbeak mixes, that dude rules

Seeing these guys next week in SD. Still can’t believe they haven’t popped

 

Saw them open for Holy Fawn in KC and goddamn is this best band. The keyboard was acting weird so they played Oh Brother instead of Dark Bells. Even though Dark Bells is a massive song I’m actually kinda glad that happened because I hadn’t heard them play Oh Brother live before. They played Nocturnalia as a closer which threw me for a loop at first but they added a rocking outro to the song that really closed the show well.

 

Supposed to see them for the first time tomorrow, can’t wait! How is Holy Fawn live?

 

I love them live. This was my 3rd time seeing them. You can’t really understand any of the lyrics but it’s kinda the same for their recorded music as well

 

Do you remember if Caracara was on an hour after doors?

 

Holy Fawn rules live. One of those bands that spent a lot of time getting their shit on lock before even playing shows, they’ve been pros since day one

Oh man a Holy Fawn and Caracara show sounds perfect

 

I've had "religious ecstacyyy is when a shot comes with your driiiink" circling my brain for a week straight. time to listen to this album again it seems

 

Apparently the line is “when a short comes with your drink,” but I heard the same lyric as you the first handful of times I listened to the song and, frankly, still choose to hear it that way lol

 

They came up in the same exact way obrother did for me back in the day, constantly opening for bands I love so through sheer exposure I fell in love

 

What does that even mean? It doesn’t make sense that way

 

Nevermind lol guess the online lyrics I saw a while back before I purchased a vinyl copy we’re wrong because the official lyric sheet says “shot”

I just looked at the lyric sheet with the vinyl and it’s ‘shot’ not ‘short’. The Lyrics genius site is incorrect.

 

I should know better than to trust genius

 

Listening right now at work for the third time in a few days time, already makes me feel nostalgic in a way, it's so good
