Spotify queued up peeling open my eyelids again after monoculture ended on my drive home and man that one would’ve been a hard hitting closer

 

I haven’t listened to any single record this much in a long time. I don’t see that letting up any time soon, either.

 

kinda weird indie rock stuff, maybe a la weatherbox? george plays bass in this band

 

been having a rough go of it lately, this album really makes me feel a lot better most days

this was good but I still don't like anything they've written as much as "Better"

 

This is my favorite album of the year by a mile
Took 2 months off after I saw them live. came back and like it even more.

 

Agreed. I played it to death and took a step back, but returning to it now in the heat of the early summer and my love for it feels unwaning.

 

I expected that whenever mid-year list time rolled around that this would land in my top 10, but in putting together a ranking it sorta occurred to me how highly I’ve prioritized this in my listening over the last three months, and that it’s probably had a bigger impact on me than I’ve given it credit for. I love this album
