Listening to this guy's music for the first time and I love it

 

On first listen it is extremely dense and good, Ballad of the Costa Concordia is an immediate standout.

This is definitely one of the years best. Been listening a lot the past few days. Need to dive into his older stuff more/see him live in a proper setting.

But I hadn't heard of this band before reading that article this morning and now I've been listening to Something Soon and Drunk Drivers for basically 5 hours straight.

 

I've said this about s billion times but them getting huge makes me so happy, haha

 

tbh I am kinda glad this album leaked when it did because who knows if we would hear the original Just What I Needed otherwise

 

I like the original one a lot more too, haha.

I can't believe how much I love this album.

 

This album is fucking bonkers good. Didn't really hit me until this listen. Every song is just connecting.

 

And they're playing at one of my favorite venues (one way smaller than I figured they'd be hitting here) in town in a month. I'm on board with these guys and DIDNT miss them coming to town. That's so unlike me.
