It’s to the point where I have to actively remind myself how good Teens of Denial is before I go back to listen to it, because all the shit since has been so awful
I liked two songs on Making a Door and I think there were moments I liked on The Scholars but those moments were basically inaccessible because of all the garbage surrounding them
I’m not even sure I listened to The Scholars twice all the way through. Once was enough and I frankly won’t be doing that with the next CSH album whenever it is (this recrecord doesn’t count but I’m not listening to it either)
So much of this album sounds genuinely indistinguishable from the original. It isn’t bad, in that respect, but it’s tough to understand why it exists
finally sitting down with the redo and I surprisingly don't hate it like I expected? Will I go back a ton? No but I appreciate it being here!
