RIYL: really well written indie rock

 

these two songs are really really good. still one of my biggest booking achievements, booking him before he absolutely skyrocketed in popularity. going to be wild seeing him at pitchfork this summer.

he actually asked me/a friend of mine if he could use a clip from the performance (my friend introducing his set lol) on the album, doubt that's actually going to happen but if it does, wow

 

This will be one of the better albums of the year.

oh my god that "you are now listening to car seat headrest" part in the beginning are friends of introducing him at the show i put on, i'm freaking out

 

we're still a month away from this, damn. may is so stacked

 

Fill in the Blank is a good song

 

Halfway through and it's pretty incredible. Wonder if it being 8 hours long will keep me from listening often.

got through like 2/3rds and Drunk Drivers is still the best most special track for me, needs lots more listens though

 

This is very good so far. Destroyed By Hippie Powers sounds like it'll be really fun live.

 

thought that about "drugs with friends" earlier, once everyone knows the words that'll be a singalong

That's maybe my favorite song this year, played it so many times over the last month.

glad to see all the cool peeps getting in on this! Hasnt totally hit me yet since there's a whole lot to take in but it's very good

 

This is so much fun on the surface but I feel there is a ton to unpack. Hope he comes through Toronto soon.

 

Every song on this is the best song. Like I listen to one and I'm like yeah this is the standout but then the next song comes on and I think the same. Did not expect to like this so much.

 

my attention span is too short apparently cause I find this a tad too long. Still have not been able to listen through it in one sitting. All the songs I've heard are amazing though.

 

Pretty much sums up my feelings. Also hope he comes to Toronto.
