When I saw this band live one of the lead singers told me they would have an album out this past spring. I know they update periodically saying they are working on it but then life happens, hope it comes out soon though. The Future Is Cancelled is so good
TFIC is sooooo good and I can't even listen to it anymore because it compromises my emotional stability
my only qualm with this is that it isn't an announcement that they've finished in the studio give me all the cws
This. Was going through that right when that song dropped(or when I first heard it) and wow...song still gives me chills to this day.
I'm interested. Hopefully they can give me a few more incredible songs at least, maybe even a full album I'll enjoy this time.
I liked the last album on its surface, but it didn't have much replay value for me. Although I have a really tough time relistening (again and again) to albums that are so overwhelming dark, so that could be why. Anyway, I'm happy another album is coming.
Usually darker toned albums like this don't bother me or deter me from listening. But TFIC hit me at a weird time I guess and its tough to get through now, which sucks because I absolutely love it
I'm excited for the full band version of Hunting Trip (Bobby mentions it's going to be on the album on his live release). His version of the song on his solo release gives me chills.
It's been four years. My body is ready. They've said it's finished. Hoping for some sort of release / order announcement soon.
