that if not smaller. both have done some small shows but i mean places that consistently do smaller DIY bills. houses and such. lily trotter, 453 florida, few other places in DC, the crown, downsquares, EMP in baltimore.
This band has put out two of the best records of the emo revival so ya I think you'd dig them CWS The Sidekicks and Menzos need to do another tour together.
I liked The Future is Cancelled quite a bit especially the aforementioned Annina, Montreal, Brother, and A Bitter Divorce Based off the two pre-release songs for the new one I think I'm gonna like it even more maybe
I think I like water best of the two songs so far but both have grown on me more since the first listen
Will probably only listen to Trying Year before the album comes out. So amped Greg and the Menzingers brought them along to the 3 MA shows in July!
Im just so impressed with this record. They really are right up there with some of the best in their lane. Now if only The Sidekicks would release a record this year and the trinity will be complete
I would commit unspeakable acts for a new Sidekicks record any time soon Like willingly listen to Pitbull
I consider Restorations to be the third member of this trinity seeing that they're from Philly but The Sidekicks are an more than acceptable addition. *Crosses fingers for a new Restos album*
LP2 and LP3 are two of my favorite rock albums of all time. These guys also give me hope that I can do something with music yet: Restos didn't start going till the band was in their 30s or close to it.
They wrote on twitter "only a couple of days until our record is out" wonder if that means they are streaming it
Very excited this is going to be streaming already after I waited approximately eight years from the time Lookers was released to After the Party dropped.
