I dunno it sounds like Bobby's style of lyrics to me, definitely has some influence from how Leo writes tho. IMO it sounds like quintessential Captain We're Sinking to me and that's why I'm so ridiculously excited for this album

 

Mostly downloads. Occasionally they'll have a PDF of lyrics included, but in my experience those have just been lyrics and not full liner notes

 

Depends, AGO sent me mp3s and lyrics, The Money Pit sent me basically everything (artwork, lyrics, mp3s, context for certain songs, etc) JEW just sent me a stream with my name watermarked on it. It just depends on the label/band I guess.

Listened to this five times this weekend and gets better with each spin

 

Just listened for the first time and I really liked it. I don't think I am quite as into the band as others in this thread are, but I certainly dig them. Should be cool too if they end up touring with the Menzingers.

 

That tour happened once already
With Fake Problems and restorations

 

Likely to happen again, seeing as Bobby and Greg are brothers.

 

And Cheap Girls and the Sidekicks back in 2012.

 

And with Mewithoutyou on their coheadliner in fall 2015

 

One of my biggest regrets is missing this tour

 

Right there with ya buddy. My date was too close to the holidays to afford the trip.

 

My eternal issue was the culprit, car trouble. I didn't have working headlights at the time and had somewhat later classes :/ that was a dream tour for the headliners alone too

 

Captain we're sinking was not on that tour

 

Yer right. I was thinking of their holiday show that was two weeks after. My b.

I wish I knew how to do things like book bands, there's two bars that are next door to each other in Albany that have been stepping up their game lately.

 

They are going to be at the Amityville music hall in July I believe on long Island

 

Oooh, I may actually be able to go to this in Chicago. My wife and kids will be out of town that week.

 

I'm pretty sure they haven't played Chicago since 2013 with the Menz, Fake Problems, and Restorations. Was a hell of a show. First time I saw each band, and it was literally hotter than hell inside of SubT

Never heard of any of these other bands – Turnspit, Distants, Merit Badge – and I'm an old man, so 9pm doors will be tough, but it's only 8 bucks and I've only been to 1 show so far this year so I'm going to try and make it.
