Damn. This is shaping up to be another astounding Marvel cast.

 

“Captain Marvel‘s shooting right now with Brie Larson,” he said. “Ms. Marvel, which is another character in the comic books, the Muslim hero who is inspired by Captain Marvel, is definitely sort of in the works. We have plans for that once we introduce Captain Marvel.”

Awesome. Ms. Marvel would be so fun to have in the next wave of movies.

 

We’ll probably have fun with Carol before Kamala takes front row but leaving cookie crumbs for Miles, Kamala, and others will be cool for whenever the second wave of Avengers (Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Peter Parker, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man/Wasp) move on to make way for the third wave.

 

I caught an episode of the current Avengers cartoon recently where Captain Marvel, Ms Marvel, Black Panther, Ant Man, Wasp, and Vision were trying to save the rest of the Avengers. I think that'd be a really cool team to see on the big screen with the addition of some other characters.

 

Without Vision more than likely lol too soon?

 

Some people won't be happy about this. With time-bending Strange and now planet-moving Captain Marvel, I don't know how they will write around that in Avengers 5 (unless Strange doesn't get the Time stone back and Carol's planet-moving abilities are reserved for Binary mode).

CAPTAIN MARVEL Is Strong Enough To Move Planets According To Brie Larson

 

I mean, we've been hearing over and over that she'll be the most powerful character we've seen on screen. we just saw Thanos move a moon crush Iron Man, sooo, seems to check out moving a planet would be in line for someone more powerful than that.

 

Thanos had 4 infinity stones when he did that though so I don’t know if that classifies as his strength but the strength of a weapon he is in the possession of. Maybe the infinity stones are not as strong in the MCU as they are in the comics but the idea that a single character (who will need help in future team-up films) is as strong as 4 infinity stones doesn’t level out in my mind. If it’s reserved for Binary mode then it’s more imaginable but if not then the MCU is slowly reaching Dragon Ball Z.

There’s plenty of ways to address her as the strongest character without doing something that dramatic because that definitly sets a bar that will easily get lost in the list of power level continuity.

She's Alison Brie, an actress. They were on Community together.

 

Never watched it.

 

Alison kinda looks like Daisy Ridley in that picture so I did a double take when I saw it this morning

 

I had no idea Brie Larson was on Community.

 

Have you never watched Mad Men or GLOW either?

 

I haven’t. It’s difficult for me to get into shows that I haven’t watched from the beginning because I don’t like playing catch up

 

I do not remember Larson on Community at all. Had to google to confirm.

 

She was the one of the only bright spots on season 4. I think.
