5. The mid credits scene when Steve came into focus

So, most of it really. I’m an overly emotional person, though.

10am showing in Sacramento today in Cinemark XD. About 50-60% full which honestly shocked me.

Anyways, this movie ruled.

 

I also live in LA and just finished a 1:10 showing on an IMAX screen. Theater was at least 75% full.

 

nothing but respect for my captain.

This movie was great.

 

Kicked ass all the way, and got me choked up several times. I can't wait to see her (and Goose?) in Endgame now.

 

can’t believe the end game to the avengers is going to be thanos versus goose.

what a fight that will be.

 

I want a series of buddy cop movies starring Goose and the dog from Widows

 

Goose and Nick Fury is the ultimate buddy cop duo next to Venom and Eddie.

 

Brie was great and her chemistry with SLJ was great, I also liked how young Fury was clearly different and more optimistic
Annette Bening and Gemma Chan are so fierce, give me a whole movie about Gemma Chan being a sniper
I can't believe how long it took me to realize Goose was a Top Gun reference
the Just A Girl scene was outstanding but besides that it was nice hearing 90s songs but I'm not sure it really added to the movie
the whole fakeout with Fury's eye was kinda silly
and the post credits scene was obviously all for the Scott Pilgrim reunion with Brie and Chris

 

Just got home after seeing this. I am all in on midnight Endgame tickets based on the post credit scene

 

That Marvel Studios intro got me crying before the actual movie even started. Was not expecting that.

 

It was an awesome movie

 

Saw this last night with my daughter. We both loved it as much as we loved Black Panther when we saw it around this time last year.

 

I was sick all week so I have to wait until Monday to see it.
(I have to work this weekend)

 

I thought this movie was just ok

 

Saw a 2pm showing in the middle of a Friday, and I’d guess my showing was 60% full, and mostly male—and the movie seemed to impress everyone, because there were lots of laughs & excited theory-speak walking out.

The Stan Lee intro was wonderful, and Goose made me gush more than any character on-screen. A couple tiny shoe-horned moments, and I had already guessed one “twist” upon the first trailer, but all in all, this was a very fun watch that turned a couple typical MCUisms into more gratifying moments than expected.

These films continue casting the right “mentor” roles, time and time again. First mid-credits scene was a tad clunky, but still got everyone jazzed for the next 45 days.

 

This was an awesome movie. I expected Phase 1 origin movie-type but instead got a Phase 3 flerkin good time. That intro scene was deeeep and the end credits were great. Goose is a winner!

 

eh everyone shows up late in LA!

I saw it last night at 8:45 at the Vista in Silverlake and it was packed obviously

 

also my favorite parts were

the goofy scene in the kitchen when the scientist skrull just shrugged his shoulders - you're my science guy?

and I also love the end when Jude Law is fight me without your powers like it was in the beginning and she just blasts his ass - felt like a metaphor for the shitty internet dudes who hate females
