Captain America: Civil War (Joe & Anthony Russo, 5/6/2016) Movie

This movie is 2 months away and i am SO STOKED

 

if i think about this too much i may actually go insane so i'm gonna distract myself with watching Winter Soldier a few more times (in between seeing Zootopia and Deadpool)

 

The early word on the street has been very encouraging.

 

I'm not surprised to hear that, but it's great to hear anyway.

 

I'M SO EXCITED FOR THIS MOVIE GIVE ME ALL THAT HOMOEROTIC SUBTEXT I LOVE IT

 

it is absolutely shocking that Kayla has posted in here in all caps. Shocking, i say!

 

i just remembered this is a thread that would definitely exist and got super excited.

 

This is going to be great. Black Panther looks amazing.

 

i will say i am still a little salty that it's mega ensemble cast as i would have preferred another cap movie and not...avengers 2.5. but my hopes are still high.

 

I dunno, I tentatively trust the Russos to be telling the truth when they say it's Cap 3 and not Avengers 2.5. Most of these characters have been previously established, so they can show up without getting their own plots, y'know? The only characters who need fleshed out at all, outside of the central Cap/Bucky/Stark narrative (and they're still in that narrative), are Black Panther and Spider-Man.

 

I want to be excited for this, but Age Of Ultron and Ant Man really squashed my excitement for MCU

 

I still haven't seen Winter Soldier or Ant Man, i am a disgrace.

 

Yeah, but at least this is a Winter Soldier sequel w/ the Russos in charge. And BLACK PANTHER, y'all.

I'm nervous I'm just gonna stare at Black Panther and think "we could've had you so much sooner"

 

winter soldier is my favorite marvel movie

 

Just tell yourself things had to go the way they did so that Coogler could director it.

I'll sit through a lame Spidey reboot if that's the reward at the end.

 

AOU was a huge let down but I highly enjoyed Ant Man.

I pretty much loathed Ant Man. My least favorite of all the Marvel movies.

Also, we probably shouldn't tell @kaylasananjou that @Jason Tate doesn't like Chris Evans

winter soldier is THE best marvel movie

 

My least favorite was probably Iron Man 2.
