This was the definition of mid. Definitely could feel the reshoots. Felt like 3 different movies smooshed into one.

I had a friend on Facebook say how great it was and there were a ton of people commenting that were like “It was a nice, tight political thriller” and it just reminds that tastes vary far and wide.

For all my whining over the last page, I maintain that I still had a good time.

Yeah but you kinda seem like an easy mark for these, which is fine, I can be too

Nothing wrong with being an easy mark. Just means you're easily entertained. Just worthwhile to remember not everyone is.

I am and have liked pretty much all of the post-endgame movies except for like Love and Thunder and Quantumania

Not sure what I've said that's prompting this. I think I've been pretty respectful of what other people are posting.

When it comes to films I actually care to rewatch

    Infinity Saga:

    Iron Man
    The First Avenger
    The Avengers
    Iron Man 3
    Winter Soldier
    Civil War
    Doctor Strange
    Black Panther
    Infinity War

    Multiverse Saga:

    Shang-Chi
    Guardians Vol. 3

    That’s a big problem, imo

Oh yeah, I forgot Homecoming. I’ve rewatched that a few times.

Haven’t really felt the desire to watch Ragnorak (other than watching scenes with the Grandmaster on YT) or Endgame; although, they’re both good.

For a while now I've kind of wanted to rewatch Phase 4 up to now, part to see if any of my opinions change, but also because I barely remember a lot of what happened in the earlier films/shows other than broad strokes.

i’m concerned for dave with this one. i know he wants to see his boy but i fear the years of anticipation will not be satisfied here.

I love that no one is asking how the man in the ocean came to be or any ramifications of it existing, just immediately a battle to claim and exploit any available resources, which is the most realistic the MCU has ever been.

There's an entire movie dedicated to its existence. Also, it's been there for sometime now, why would they ask about it year(s) later?

I'm not talking about real world audiences, so I don't know why Eternals would count, if that's what you're saying.

Also, like bodies, if we didn't see theologizing on screen, then it didn't happen.

Celestial was mentioned in She Hulk or Shang Chi or something. There was a newspaper or news report on a TV or something mentioning it. So it's not like the public isn't aware of it.

But, also to be clear, I agree with you. Simple nods to it would make the whole MCU more cohesive. But the massive alien attack on NYV in Avengers was never really mentioned again either.
