Is anyone shocked? When a film has a few reshoots it’s not a good sign

    hate my favorite band

I'm not writing this movie off because I think it'll still be fun, but didn't really expect much from the Cloverfield Paradox director.

Not only add, but they took one away as well. Can’t wait for the future documentary on the production of this film

So, yea, this was fine. I enjoyed it for what it was.

I’m sure when people come in to shit on it that I’ll agree on the weak points of the movie. But despite them, it was a positive experience for me/those issues didn’t ruin it for me.

It is very funny to me how this movie uses nearly a similar structure point for point as Winter Soldier with a few changes.

My theater also had two sides players for this and Thunderbolts*, so I grabbed 2. And I had point for a free popcorn. So I guess I was primed to enjoy it haha but still!

Also, just the one post credits scene at the end. But if you need to leave sooner, you won’t miss much. You could just read about it as nothing is revealed visually, it’s just a short conversation.

Something just feels off from the no Marvel Studios fanfare on. There is a good movie in there somewhere, but too much is a mess for that to show through much.

Eh, I think the quick logo was fine. I kind of hope they do unique quick logos like this for the solo movies and save the full fanfare for the Avengers movies.

  14. This was The Winter Soldier rehashed as an Incredible Hulk sequel with Gus Fring somehow in it.

Seeing this on Saturday, but anyway, I was reading up and apparently Rosa Salazar was cut from the film?

Crazy, since toys of her character ended up in the wild and she was seen on set for the reshoots.

Just saw this. I agree with most that said it felt empty. It was okay, just an average, middle of the road MCU film. Feels a bit too much like The Incredible Hulk 2 and less Captain America 4. I strongly dislike the leader as well, as a character and his design. Felt like a lame Saturday morning bottle episode villain. Red Hulk was cool though.
Was also neat to see Bucky for a couple minutes
    6/10

This was okay at best. Definitely some pacing issues.

Yeah, this is a 5/10 at most. Was engaged with the Isaiah Bradley stuff and the conspiracy at first. Once it gets into the Hulk stuff, the wheels fall off for me. And Liv Tyler was definitely CGI’d on to someone’s body, right?

I don’t think so? But based on leaks, I’d say that scene was part of the most recent reshoots as the leaks clearly show a different location for her. So I guess it’s possible.

Everything up until Celestial Island was good

Kinda became too ambitious for its own good. Certainly not as bad as critics paint it out to be, imo

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

this was a Hulk film with Sam find and replaced into it but it was enjoyable enough I think. had fun with it

We have an official Marvel film where Harrison Ford references the Blip, talks about a Celestial, and introduces adamantium

    It was all worth it

Audiences always enjoy these films. The Marvels is 80%. Eternals is 77%. People like Marvel films, even if they don't always run to the theater for them.
