I was at the show where he improvised some of what became that song. The actual town is called Effingham and I wish he would have kept that.
Song is decent, but I feel like it's produced in a way that sounds pretty flat and uninspiring. Or is it just me? Really enjoyed the brass parts though. Feels less immediate than a lot of the last album.
These guys peaked with Bobby for me. That song is so immediate and has a hook I can still hum today with zero thought.
